About Dave

Dave DeLuca is a San Francisco native who began performing in and around Northern California’s Bay Area. He soon moved to New York City to hone his skills and talents as a comic and writer. After 10 years in clubs on the East Coast he returned to California, Los Angeles, with a comedic style of East meets West, New York attitude with California wit, something he likes to call Common Sense Comedy.

Dave’s comedy comes from life, not only his own but from observing the people and world around him. During a show he can easily cover any number of subjects from his personal life, politics, current events, pop culture and social commentary. As he likes to point out, “If you can’t find something to laugh about, then you haven’t looked around.”
